Presented virtually for the first time:
Hugo Junkers Award 2020
The Hugo Junkers Award faced particular challenges during the pandemic year of 2020. Nevertheless, we received almost 100 exciting and varied applications. Entries from every part of the state once again demonstrated that innovation is especially important in economically challenging times, strengthening Saxony-Anhalt as a center of business and science.
We were delighted by the sustained interest in the state's most generously funded innovation competition and by the enthusiasm for research and development among Saxony-Anhalt's scientists and entrepreneurs.
